Is it really free?
Yes. The browser app — merge, split, and convert — is free forever, with no account needed. The Mac app is a one-time $9 purchase that adds page tools (reorder, rotate, remove pages), batch processing across unlimited files, and native Finder integration.
Do my files get uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens on your own device — in your browser or the Mac app. Your files never leave your computer and are never sent to our servers.
Is this a subscription?
No. Every license is a one-time payment — buy it once, no recurring charges, ever. "One-time" means you pay a single time and own the app on your Macs forever.
What is the difference between the two licenses?
Both are one-time payments and unlock every feature. The difference is updates: the $9 Perpetual license includes free updates within the current major version (v1.x). The $25 Lifetime license includes every future update — v1, v2, v3 and beyond — free, forever.
How many computers can I use it on?
Either license activates on up to 2 Macs that you own. You can see and remove your activated devices anytime.
Do I get updates?
Perpetual ($9): free updates within the current major version (v1.x); a future major version (v2) would be a separate purchase. Lifetime ($25): all future updates, every major version, free forever.
What if I want a refund?

What do I need to run the Mac app?
